If for nothing else I came home just in time to prevent any food disasters at grandpa’s house.
I found mayonnaise that had expired January 2006 and a half gallon orange juice that expired May 2006.
I always check expiration dates now after we discovered a bottle of ranch salad dressing that had expired two years prior at my in-laws house.

I guess I need to come home at least once a year to perform kitchen inspections.
