not much of an update

Literally, I am all over the board the last few weeks.

Maybe it is the Farah heat.
Maybe it is the hormones.
Maybe the Afghan air.

I am wrestling with the continuing overwhelming urge to make a difference – but I feel like I am wading in quick sand, almost immobile.
