update on blake/additional request

I thought I would pass along the latest update for our friend Blake.
These are his father's words. Please lift up this family and Bryce if you get a chance.

Thanks to your prayerful support and God’s gracious hand we have not had to send out an urgent prayer request for a week. Blake has stabilized and continues to have episodes with headache and black outs but they are fewer and farther in between and we are thankful for that but also realize that this needs to be cleared up as much as possible before beginning the preparation for the transplant in less than two weeks.

Here are several things to pray for specifically:

1) That the pressure in Blake’s central nervous system will return to normal.
2) That his blood pressure, which increases greatly during the episodes will be able to be brought under control.
3) That the final test for the donor for any infectious diseases will come back clear.

Also, if you would please, lift up Bryce today. He is a year older than Blake and about a month ahead of Blake in his diagnosis and he is getting his stem cell transplant today at 6 PM. Pray that these new cells will graft and that Bryce will stay strong and stable throughout the procedure.
