Lavender Farm

This week I coordinated a small team building volunteer event which only three people showed. But it was so good for my heart.
We worked in the field pulling weeds, got a tour of a 25 acre farm, chickens, sheep, llama, and the beginning of a Slovenian style bee keep. Yes - Slovenian style. That was not a coincidence. Over an over again he is so so good to me.

harmony

harmony
noun the quality of forming a pleasing and consistent whole.

Tonight I am watching Call the Midwife and doing homework. For me it is harmonious.
I love this show and I enjoy learning and research.
I am ok student on some subjects. Research Methods is one of the one's I wish could do without but you cannot go further without it. I am making progress on some things I care about. I am encouraged.

 GOD is good. #prayer #surrender

We don't "move on" from grief. We move forward with it | Nora McInerny

this week again really pulled at my heart strings.
I was in Colorado for a very quick 5 1/2 days.
3 Days was 100% committed to a MUTA 6.
I did quickly run to get my mammogram on Friday morning at 715.
By the time I got home and showered on Sunday I ate and scrolled through some emails.
Monday I put in a full 8 hours and a dentist appointment. Then visited with the family and friends.
Tuesday I worked and caught up with two friends in Denver.
I catch up with every stop I make.

Teen Vogue get's it wrong

There is controversy brewing on a recent article in Teen Vogue.
Former prostitutes are taking Teen Vogue to task in a big way for an op-ed it published last week titled, Why sex work is real work — essentially a defense of trading sex for money and a call for decriminalizing it worldwide.

Vogue calls for STEM jobs and equal pay for equal work and then publishes trash like this.

This is bullshit.
Please do not advocate for any teens to enter the world of prostitution.
It is dangerous.
It has additional second, and third order of effects.
Shame on you.

I sent them a note with my thoughts.
This the wrong message for my nieces, granddaughter, and young women in my life.
